want to open your mind to something important. A person's inability to drive a car is just one of the many things they cannot do. And you know why they cannot drive? It's not because they are dull—they simply haven't learned it. Those who drive cars are not more intelligent; they only learned how. Once they learn, within a few months, they can drive everywhere.
In the same way, many people don't know how to live. Because they don't know how, they conclude that life is hard. But life isn't hard—it's people who don't know how to live it. The Bible says, “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: Keep her; for she is thy life” (Proverbs 4:13). That means when you hold firmly to God's Word, you'll learn how to live rightly.
Your life is a gift from God. Imagine giving someone a car as a gift—that doesn't mean they can automatically drive it. The gift is theirs, but they must still learn how to use it. Likewise, your life is a gift from God, but you must learn how to live it.
When people don't know how to live, life becomes full of troubles—sickness, wrong choices, broken relationships, loss, and frustration. Then they assume that's just how life is. But Jesus already told us the real reason for these problems: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Life is not hard; ignorance makes it seem hard. God's Word teaches us how to live and enjoy the abundant life Christ has given.
That's why I'm teaching you now, on how to live life. I'm a professor, not of biology or of optometry, but of life. My calling is to teach people how to live. No one who listens to God's Word remains confused about life. If you learn and apply it, it's impossible to remain sick, defeated, or unfulfilled. Your future will be secure. You can't be poor; you can't fail—when you learn from the Bible, you will have an “A1” in life.
Some can have an A1 in school but still fail in life. Some lecturers may have excelled academically, yet their families are struggling, their finances are broken, and nothing seems to be working in their lives. There's a difference between your career and your life. You can do well in your profession yet fail in life because of the lack of understanding of how to live.
Life is easy—it's what you don't know that's hard. The Bible says, “…Wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it” (Ecclesiastes 7:12). Nothing is truly hard. It's just like saying something is expensive—it's not that it's expensive, some just don't have enough. I've learned that nothing is really expensive, so I don't complain. Instead, I choose to live in supernatural abundance. Don't ever say anything is expensive; rather, believe God for prosperity and increase.
When you learn God's Word and apply it, you'll discover how to truly live. The Word shows you how to think, act, and walk in victory every day. It says, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalm 119:130). Don't live by human opinions; live by divine wisdom. Every time you open your Bible, you're being trained in the art of living. Commit yourself today to learning life from God's Word, and you'll find that life isn't hard—it's beautiful, glorious, and full of peace.
