MAN'S ROLE IN GOD'S PLAN

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land... - EZEKIEL 22:30

The Word of God itself is light, and God communicates through light. Sometimes you may think you know something, but when God throws His light on it, you suddenly realize the knowledge you had about it was simply head knowledge.

The Bible says, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land...” (Ezekiel 22:30). Many Christians do not have the revelation of the place or role of man in God's plan. Whether it's God's plan for an individual or His plan for the whole world, the role of man is at the centre.

When we talk about God's plan for humanity, most people understand the role of Jesus. They understand angels and even recognize the power of the Holy Spirit in God's plan. But few truly grasp the power and significance of man in that same plan—how God cannot bless anyone on Earth without involving a man.

Understanding the role of man in God's plan—both for individuals and for the world—is a revelation in itself. It's so important that when God wanted to save humanity, He had to become a man. The Bible said, “…the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14). A man died for us—not God in His divine form, but Jesus as a man, to redeem men.

If you don't understand this, you will miss out on one of God's greatest systems of blessing—relationships. That's why we emphasize the importance of building relationships. The Bible says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17 ESV). There's so much God can do through men in your life; doors can open, favour can multiply, and destinies can shift simply through divine connections.

There are people who would have prospered long ago if they had understood the power of relationships. No man is gifted enough, talented enough, or complete in himself to become all that God has called him to be. The Bible says, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Everything a man needs for completeness—in ministry, in business, or in any area of life—is found in someone else.

Don't downplay the value of men in God's plan. Man is God's strategy for executing His will on Earth. Everything God wants to do, He does through men. If God will lift you, He will send a man. If He will instruct you, He will speak through a man. Therefore, be discerning and open to the people God sends into your life. Honour relationships and build them with wisdom, for in doing so, you align yourself with the very system God designed to move you into destiny.

Confession & Prayer

"Father, open my eyes to see the light of Your Word. Help me understand the role of men in Your plan for my life, and teach me to build the right relationships that will move me forward in Your divine purpose, in Jesus' name. Amen."
