UPGRADE YOUR MIND

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind... - ROMANS 12:2

Mindset is important. Whenever the grace of God comes to you, but you don't reason at that level, you will not see results. The grace of God came to Abraham for him to be the father of many nations, but Abraham could not reason at that level. Because his mind could not accommodate it, it wasn't going to work. So God had to bring Abraham out and tell him, "...Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them... So shall they seed be" (Genesis 15:5).

That is why we emphasize the mind so much—because that is where many people are crippled. Inability is of the mind; disability is of the mind; The Bible says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...” (Proverbs 23:7). We see people all around who are physically disabled - blind, or deaf, yet they have influenced the world. A blind keyboardist or music producer can make a huge impact. Then we see people whose bodies are fine, live in corruption, looking for ways to steal or harm others. What happened? It is their mind. Disability is often mental, not just physical.

God told Abraham to count the stars. Abraham had grace—the grace to be the father of many—but his mind had to be upgraded to match that grace. The way you think will determine the life you live. If it is not in your mind, it is not in your life.

The mind is important, but no matter how positive someone thinks, no matter how structured their reasoning is, if grace is not there, all effort will still yield nothing. The Bible says, “...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...” (2 Corinthians 12:9). There are people who work so hard yet see no results.

Look at a madman in the street who is naked. It's not that he has no body; his mind is locked. The moment his mind is restored, shame and clarity come. He realizes he is naked and on the streets, and thinks, “What am I doing here?” That is the power of a renewed mind. Each time you upgrade your mind, your level of reasoning determines what you are qualified to receive and achieve. As the Bible says, “…be renewed in the spirit of your mind;” (Ephesians 4:23).

When you let God's Word shape your thoughts, your life begins to rise to a new level. Don't stay limited by old patterns—upgrade your mind today and start thinking like the champion God has made you to be.

Confession & Prayer

"Dear Father, thank you for showing me the importance of my mind. Help me renew my mind to align with Your vision. Help me overcome mental barriers so my capacity and potential can manifest fully to Your glory, in Jesus' name. Amen."
