All the things of God work by knowledge. It does not work just because you have it; it works because you know it. It is what you know that works for you, not what you have. You can have everything and still suffer if you do not know. If you do not know, you will be helpless, like a chicken with no sense of security. The Bible makes this clear when it says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6).
Many people walk in darkness, not because God has not done anything about their situation, but because they do not know and they do not understand. Everything that is needed, God has already done. But lack of knowledge keeps people suffering.
Now see what God Himself says about you in His Word: “I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are the children of the most High;” (Psalm 82:6). This is God’s verdict about you. Yet, because of ignorance, the Bible says, “But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes;”, (Psalm 82:7).
When you do not know who you are, you live and fall like ordinary men, even though God has called you a god and a child of the Most High. Your knowledge of your true identity in God is what activates power in your life.
Listen carefully: you are not what you think you are. You are not what circumstances say you are. You are what the Word of God says you are. If you are born again, the Bible declares, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
How long will you refuse this truth? How long will you continue to walk in darkness? How long will you tolerate poverty, sickness, fear, and affliction? How long will witches, wizards, and demonic forces oppress you?, when authority has already been given to you? Wake up to who you really are. Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you;” (Luke 10:19). You have authority over sickness, fear, oppression, and every work of the enemy. You are not who the world says you are? you are who God says you are.
Make a conscious decision to live by God's Word. Refuse ignorance, fear, and every label that does not align with your identity in Christ. Open your Bible daily. study who God says you are. Speak these truths boldly over your life, and walk in them.
If you are not born again, receive Jesus now and step into this new life. Walk in the knowledge of your authority, exercise your dominion, and live out the victorious life God has already given you.
