A lot of times, people think they have to change yourself. Nobody can help himself. That's why Jesus came. Why did God send Jesus to die for you? Jesus came to die for you. God did not wait for us to change before sending His Son. Don't wait to settle anything before you serve God in your life. It is the love of God that empowers you to serve Him. It is the love of God that empowers you to live for Him. It is the love of God that changes you. The Bible says, "...while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
You will be amazed by God's plan for your life—financially and in every other way. Things will change when you embrace God's love for you. Don't live in condemnation. And stop living with your strength. This is very key. Don't rely on your natural strength. God's plan for your life is not that you operate with your strength. You are not supposed to do business or run your family with your strength. Your strength cannot withstand Satan.
You need to accept God's love, then you wear God's strength and use His strength to live your everyday life. That is the only way to overcome this world. Otherwise, you will always be under pressure, crying out to governments, having failed finances, and troubles everywhere, because you tried living with your strength in Satan's world. Satan runs this world. You need the strength of God to overcome and succeed. As Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 NKJV). This is what you need. Life is difficult, yes—but not for the man in Christ. The man in Christ has supernatural strength. That strength enables you to overcome Satan and the world.
The Apostle Paul said, "not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;" (2 Corinthians 3:5). There were those who were timid or shy, unable to accomplish much. But when they embraced Christ, strength arose within them. People who never were business-minded are now successful because Christ empowered them.
In your natural self, you are not qualified or sufficient. Your ability and power are from God. When you come to Jesus, you are one with Him. The Bible says, "...he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit" (1 Corinthians 6:17). His power becomes your power.
This is not religion. This is more than going to church. Religion does not change hearts; it is just going to church, giving offerings, singing, dancing, and then leaving. Religion does not make you one with God. Many religious people are in church, but God is not in their thoughts.
Christianity is not religion. It is a relationship. God is your Father. He is with you everywhere, every day. The God we serve is not only in church—He is inside us. We are one with Him. One spirit, inseparable. What the Lord is, you are now. That is why you can say, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13). This is why Jesus came—to make us more than ordinary men, because we are not ordinary people. So embrace God's strength, and live victoriously everyday.
