A WARRIOR OF FAITH

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force - MATTHEW 11:12

What belongs to you will not come to you simply because it's for you. The Bible says, "...from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12). Who do you think you are in this kingdom? We are warriors of faith. We obtain what God has promised us by faith.

Look at our spiritual ancestors. Consider the lives of Abraham, Samson, David, and Joseph. What kind of men were they? They were not cool and calm people. On the contrary, they were people who knew how to stand for their rights and who fought for their future. Similarly, the Israelites entered territories, fought enemies, overcame opposition, and took possession of their inheritance. The land God promised them was already occupied, yet He commanded, "and ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it" (Numbers 33:53). God's people in the Old Testament were warriors. And that hasn't changed, even in our day.

What kind of people do you think we are? We are warriors. We are fighters. Faith is not cool and calm. I'm not talking about fighting with people—we engage in spiritual battles. The Bible says, "...we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers..." (Ephesians 6:12). We fight to prevent circumstances from dictating our existence. Don't allow things to dictate the conditions of your life. You have the ability to change situations to suit God's Word. We are people who don't take no for an answer. People who know how to speak God's Word boldly. People who know how to go on their knees and pray until they get a change, because, "...The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).

We are not cool and calm people. We are warriors. Warriors of faith. Look at David, he said, "I believed, therefore have I spoken..." (Psalm 116:10). These were tough men—men of faith who, "…subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions" (Hebrews 11:32-33). Now ask yourself, when was the last time you spoke to circumstances, to your future, to your business, or to your finances? Things will not come to you just because God said they will; you have to bring them to you.

Just imagine David, a young man of seventeen, standing face-to-face with Goliath, saying, "This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee…" (1 Samuel 17:46). That was faith in action. So, what have you done with your faith? How much do you truly believe?

Your life needs courage. Fight for what belongs to you, take dominion over what God has promised you, and speak God's Word. Stand, pray, believe, and act. Be a warrior who refuses to settle for less than God's plan. Rise up today and claim your future, purpose, and inheritance.

Confession & Prayer

"Dear Father, thank You for calling me to be a warrior of faith. Help me to stand boldly, fight diligently, and not allow circumstances to dictate my future. Let me use my faith to speak victory over every situation, take dominion over my promises, and possess all that You have prepared for me. Amen."
