Money does not give what many people are truly looking for. Only Jesus satisfies. Jesus Himself said, "...I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35). You want satisfaction? Embrace Jesus. Because man is a spirit, only spiritual things can satisfy a man. No amount of money, no number of friends, no achievement can fill a vacuum that only God can fill. Know Jesus. Learn His Word. A relationship with Jesus makes you full—so full that you are no longer searching for something else. Only Jesus satisfies.
Jesus is not religion. He is a real relationship—where you and Him become one. And when He fills you, He fills you to the full. You become full of Jesus, full of His love, full of His life. That is when you begin to fulfill your purpose. And this is what purpose is really about.
The purpose of every man on Earth is found in Jesus Christ. You cannot discover your purpose outside Him. The Bible says, "for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" (Colossians 1:16). These words are powerful. It says all things—with no exception. That includes you. All things were created by Him and for Him.
Many people understand the part that says all things were created by Him. Even unbelievers agree that God made everything. But what many have not understood is the part that says for Him. You were created by Jesus, and you were also created for Jesus. You were not created for a job. You were not created for money, marriage, society, or personal ambition. You were created by Him and for Him.
Think about it this way: a phone is made by a company, but it is not made for the company—it is made for the user. But God is not like man. Anything God creates, He creates for Himself. God uses what He makes. You were not created to be used by the world, by people, or even by yourself. You were created by God, and you were created for God.
This is why life feels empty without Jesus. This is why success without Him still feels hollow. As another translation puts it, "For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible...everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him" (Colossians 1:16 MSG). Everything finds its purpose in Jesus. Outside Him, life has no meaning. Stop running around. Your life will not make sense without Jesus.
Only Jesus satisfies. Only Jesus gives meaning. Only Jesus fills the soul. When you come to Him, hunger ends. When you believe in Him, thirst disappears. That is the life God designed for you. When you make Jesus your greatest pursuit in life, you will find that you are living in peace, joy and maximum fulfilment. Glory to God!
