GROWTH BEGINS WITHIN

...as he thinketh in his heart, so is he - PROVERBS 23:7

Hard work alone does not bring growth. When you understand the way life runs, you will intentionally give attention to some areas of your life. You hear self-discipline, consistency, focus, hard work, habit—if all do not translate together, it is like trying to cook without following the proper method. You have to add many things, all correlating and working together, to produce the desired result. The Bible says, "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty" (Proverbs 21:5 NLT). You need proper preparation and coordination to succeed.

You can't buy melon and start eating it, saying it's melon soup. You can't dissolve or grind it in water and call it soup. Even though it's melon, it is not yet melon soup. Melon soup is defined by how it is prepared and what is combined with it. The presence of melon alone doesn't make melon soup; achieving it depends on what you apply with the melon. That is how success is like—growth. The Bible says, "…which of you, intending to build a tower, siteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" (Luke 14:28). Growth is intentional and requires consistent learning and application.

What brings about growth in life? You may be working hard in your job, business, or personal projects—you may be putting in effort every day—but what you don't realize is that what brings real growth is your personal growth. You will never achieve results larger than your capacity. You will never have outcomes bigger than your inner capacity. The Bible says, "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart…" (Luke 6:45 NLT)—your inner capacity determines how much you can achieve and influence.

Self discipline is good, hard work is good, but if I may ask hard work in what? Your kind of hard work is different from someone else's. Hard work for successful people is tailored toward their personal growth. The real hard work is the effort you put in your growth and development, not just the effort you put into a project or vision. You are more important than your vision.

To be a millionaire is not to have millions of money. To be a millionaire is an inner capacity. It is growth that comes through transformation of the mind—transformation through information, constructive information. The Bible says, "...as he thinketh in his heart, so is he..." (Proverbs 23:7) — what you are inwardly, shapes the results you attract. You just wake up, and you know you're a millionaire. When you become a millionaire inside, you start attracting millions.

Take charge of your life today. Focus on your personal growth and your inner capacity. Align your thoughts, habits, and discipline so that every effort you make produces the results you desire. Growth begins within, and as you develop yourself inwardly, everything around you—your career, business, relationships, and life—will naturally grow and flourish. Invest fully in developing yourself now.

Confession & Prayer

"Father, thank You for teaching me that growth begins within. Help me to focus on my personal development and transformation of my mind. Teach me to align self-discipline, consistency, and focus so that every effort I make brings about lasting growth. I receive the inner capacity of success today, in Jesus' name. Amen."
