The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 3:1 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come". And we are in the last days. In these times, it is so easy not to believe in God anymore; it is so easy to be worldly or to be just any kind of Christian. The only solution now—believe me—is to have a copy of the Bible and read it for yourself. Even pastors will not survive these last days without studying their Bibles.
The only people who will survive these last days are not merely those who go to church or listen to messages, but those who read the Bible for themselves. If you don't read your Bible, there is no hope for you. The Bible says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…" (Hosea 4:6). The opposition against the truth is very strong, and it requires personal conviction from Scripture to withstand it. Those who speak against the Word take advantage of the fact that it often does not make sense to the natural man; however, the Bible says, "…the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18).
This explains why many reject the truth and treat it lightly. When the Word is not understood spiritually, it is easily dismissed. But the Spirit of God has already warned us that this rejection will increase in the last days. The Bible says, "The Holy Spirit has explicitly revealed: At the end of this age, many will depart from the true faith one after another, devoting themselves to spirits of deception and following demon-inspired revelations and theories" (1 Timothy 4:1 TPT). You see this everywhere now, especially on social media, where so-called revelations are circulated that are inspired by demons.
Take this to heart: the only way to stand strong and survive the deception of these last days is to read the Bible for yourself. Do not depend solely on church messages or online teachings. The Bible says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…" (Colossians 3:16). So be wise, get closer now to your Bible than ever before.
