WATCH WHAT YOU HEAR

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it - PROVERBS 4:23 NIV

In these last days, be careful who and what you listen to—especially online. The most dangerous voices on Earth now—hear me and hear me clearly—are those whose only assignment is correcting someone else's message. Be very careful. Stay away from platforms that are built only on criticizing another person. The moment you notice that pattern, block it immediately. Don't even start listening. The majority of them now, all they do online is correct another person's message. There is no such ministry in the Body of Christ. That is the work of the Devil. The Bible warns us that "...in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;" (1 Timothy 4:1).

The reason the Devil is doing this is to gain access to your heart and corrupt your mind. This is why the Word of God is so clear about your protection. The Bible says, "So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23 TPT). Oh glory to God. This is so powerful. Did you see that? From your heart flows the goodies of life. Don't let your heart be corrupted. I am sending this as a warning: be very careful of the things you listen to.

What you listen to can change your focus and alter your passion in life. It can quench your fire—not just online, but even through those around you. Don't listen to things that are not inspiring. Don't listen to gossip, or to someone telling you about a wrong somebody else did. How can someone come to you and gossip a sister or a brother, saying, "Do you know what she did?" or "That brother is dating someone," or "That person stole money"? Anybody who is telling you all that a person did wrong—and you are listening—you are destroying your soul. The Bible warns us, "The words of a talebearer are as wounds, And they go down into the innermost parts of the belly" (Proverbs 18:8).

Your heart is the battleground. Whatever you allow into it determines what flows out of your life. The Bible tells us, "Cease, my son, to hear the instruction That causeth to err from the words of knowledge" (Proverbs 19:27). Guard your heart and fill it with God's Word daily. Be intentional about what you listen to and who you give access to your spirit. Let your heart be full of what is pure, inspiring, and godly, so that everything you do produces life and blessings, and nothing can quench the fire God has placed in you.

Confession & Prayer

"Father, help me to guard my heart with all diligence. Teach me to watch what I hear, what I see, and what I say. Help me to fill my heart daily with Your Word. Deliver me from false doctrines, gossip, and wrong influences, and keep my heart aligned with Your truth, in Jesus' name. Amen."
