Jesus was talking about the last days when He said, "men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth…" (Luke 21:26). He revealed that fear will grip many, by focusing on the world and its coming events. Now I tell you, what can easily destroy you is not even false prophets or false teachers, but all the bad things you give attention to and watch online—reports of kidnappings, earthquakes, terrible crimes, shocking reports, i.e. 20 people slept and did not wake up, someone's head is missing, stories of disaster, death, and confusion. Be careful. These things can affect you. They increase fear and reduce faith in God's Word. This is how fear works. Believe me. Fear comes by hearing. You see these things and you are quick to click them first, more than positive or ordinary news.
I have news for you. See what Jesus Christ said: "Earthquakes will bring panic and disaster. What men see coming to the earth will cause the fear of doom to grip their hearts, for they will even see the powers of the heavenly realm shaken!" (Luke 21:26 TPT). Take note: what men SEE will cause the fear of doom to grip their heart. What you did not see cannot make you fear. The King James Version says, "men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth…" (Luke 21:26). Why? Because they were looking at those things that are coming on the Earth—all the bad things coming on the Earth.
Get ready for the worst. The Earth is about to shake. Things will happen within the next few years. Jesus spoke about these things. Be careful how you consume information on social media. It is not everything you need to watch. Protect your heart. All these things you constantly watch will reduce your faith and increase your fear.
A day is coming when you may not be able to believe for anything anymore. You may start to wonder if there is really God. "If there is God, why are these things really happening?" You may think. Before long, to believe God for your financial miracle will seem useless. It will feel easier to go and do rituals, fraud, or robbery, and you are supposed to be a Christian. What is happening to you? How did you manage to consider joining cults or bad gangs? Why? Your faith reduced. All the things you have been listening to reduced your faith. You see a Christian sister, born again, full of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues, visiting hookup sites—how did the thought come to her mind? All the things she exposed herself to, reduced her faith. The Bible says, "Men's hearts [will fail] them for fear" (Luke 21:26 SBA). Faith in God will drastically reduce in the day we are living in.
So, protect your heart from all that you see and hear. Consume God's Word more than the news. Protect your faith. Protect your heart.
