Don't ever keep any human enemy. It will limit your glory. You may not know it, but it will quietly block what God wants to do in your life. The glory you have not seen in your heart will not manifest in your life. The Bible says, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…" (Proverbs 23:7). If your heart is full of bitterness, your life cannot produce glory. See beauty and glory in everything you see. Train yourself that way. Train your mind. Train your heart. Don't keep enemies. Don't keep grudges. The Bible says, "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger… be put away from you…" (Ephesians 4:31). Bitterness does not help you. It poisons you. It will not make you happy, and it will hinder your progress in life—your progress in your journey of purpose.
You cannot move forward while carrying hatred. You cannot rise while holding resentment. The Bible says, "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work" (James 3:16). Strife invites confusion. Confusion blocks direction. And when you lose direction, you slow down in destiny. Be quick to forgive people. Don't delay it. Don't postpone it. The Bible says, "and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32). If God forgave you freely, forgive freely. As long as you keep a grudge in your heart against people, you are not making progress. It hinders your progress spiritually. It hinders your peace mentally. It even affects you physically.
Didn't you hear what Jesus Christ said? Jesus said, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14–15). This is serious. Forgiveness is not optional. It is a command. Forgive freely. If you want to see glory manifest in your life, drop the grudge. If you want progress, release people. If you want peace, let go. If you want God to forgive you, forgive others.
Make a decision today. Clear your heart. Pray for those who have hurt you. Bless them. Let them go. Don't allow bitterness to limit your destiny. Walk in love. Walk in peace. Move forward.
