Hell is real. In Hellfire, nobody discusses business. Nobody talks about TikTok, Facebook or checks Instagram timeline. There are only two discussions in Hell: the pain they are going through and the desperate cry for water. As the Bible shows, "And he cried and said, Father Abraham... send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame" (Luke 16:24). The only thing that man asked for was water. He didn't even ask for a cup; he requested just a drop from a finger. Imagine begging for water for billions of years, knowing the only liquid in Hell is fire.
Did you also notice the man did not ask for the key to open the door? Why did he not ask Abraham for a way out? I would prefer to find a way out of here than to ask for water to drink and remain there. Why did he not ask, "Please, Father Abraham, where is the way out of this place?" This shows us that every man that gets to Hell arrives there with a knowledge that this is forever. They know there is no way of coming out. That is the height of hopelessness. They are not hoping that the pain will end. They just know it's forever. So there's no point asking for a way out.
The second thought on the mind of everyone in Hellfire is: Who can help them talk to their relatives on Earth? Nobody in Hell wants their relatives to come there. Most of us may know someone-a friend or relative-who died outside of Jesus and is in Hell right now. I am telling you that they are praying for you every day: that you should not come to Hell. The Bible records the same cry, "...Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment" (Luke 16:27-28 NIV).
Every man on Earth will believe in Jesus someday. You will believe in Jesus on Earth or in Hell. If you don't believe in Him here, you will believe in Hell. That man in Hell believed—but faith in Jesus in Hell is useless. It is too late. Yet, in that place, he became a preacher and an intercessor.
Today is the time to believe in Jesus while there is still opportunity. The Bible says, "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9). Don't postpone your salvation. Don't wait until it is too late. Choose Jesus now, live for Him now, and make sure your eternity is secure with God. Eternity is real, Heaven is real, and Hell is real-and the decision you make today will determine where you spend forever.
