It is important you recognize the working of God in your life. The moment the things and the move of God are recognized, you give God power to do more. When you recognize what God is doing in your life, the working of God enhances in your life. If you don't appreciate the things He is doing, if you fail to recognize them, you will believe the results are your own. That is one way to stop the move of God in your life; it easily stalls when you think it was you who made the decision. The Bible says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights…" (James 1:17). Everything in your life that works for your good is God's gift-recognize it, appreciate it, and God will do more.

When you believe and appreciate the little things from God, you will see and experience a greater dimension. Appreciate what He is doing in your life. The Bible says, "...it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13). He put the desire in you. Hear me: if you ever see yourself loving God and being drawn to Him, you are now interested in the things of God, you might make up your mind one day and say, "The way my life is going, I don't like it. I need to get close to God. I need to start going to church," know that it is God working. The Bible says, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you" (James 4:8). This desire to draw near is not from you; it is God working in you.

All the time you think of going to church or taking God seriously, those thoughts are a response to His pulling of you. He has found you, and now He is pulling you to Himself. That is the reason you are thinking the way you are. It is not in us to love God; it is not in any man to love Him. We cannot even choose Him if He has not first chosen us. Jesus said, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you…" (John 15:16).

So thank Him for it. Learn to appreciate His working in your life. As you do, you enhance that work. The Bible says, "In every thing give thanks:…" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Recognition and appreciation of God's work in your life is the key to unlocking a greater dimension of His power.

Today, make a choice to see and acknowledge what God is doing. Give thanks for the small victories, the desires He has placed in your heart, and the drawing of your spirit toward Him. As you appreciate His work, you open the door for Him to do more, and the move of God in your life will increase. Recognize Him, thank Him, and watch your life shift into a greater dimension of His power.
