The Bible, in our opening scripture, says, "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily" (Colossians 2:9). In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead-the Holy Spirit and God Himself. All dwell in Him. Just as we are the body of Christ, Jesus is the body of God. The Bible says, "God is a Spirit…" (John 4:24); He does not have a physical body, but Jesus is His bodily manifestation. The whole of God is inside Jesus. This verse reveals a remarkable truth: the fullness-not just a part-of God dwells in Jesus in bodily form.

God is pleased with this arrangement, as Colossians 1:19 says, "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;". Everything, the totality of God, dwells in Jesus. Jesus is God. This revelation is where all devils find themselves in trouble. After today, you will start casting out devils because all you need is this understanding. The next verse from our opening scripture says, "And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power;" (Colossians 2:10). Here, "complete" means there is nothing that should have been in you that is missing, and nothing is there that should not be. You are complete in Him.

Where the scripture says He is the "head of all principality and power," the word "head" refers to authority. When you recognize the Head, your boldness rises. Once you know the Head, the subordinates no longer matter. Jesus is above all spiritual authority, principality, power, and rulers of darkness. He is superior to demons, and they know it. Philippians 2:10 says, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…". In the hierarchy and ranking of the spirit realm, Jesus is on top. Jesus is supreme over every spiritual ruler. While demons attempt to control people's lives, jobs, and happiness, Jesus is above them all. You are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. You do not need more power; you need knowledge, because casting out devils is a matter of authority. Jesus said, "...In my name shall they cast out devils..." (Mark 16:17). We cast them out in the name of Jesus-the name of the Head.

Get hold of yourself and take charge of your mind and life today. When the Devil shows you pictures of evil, command him never to show them again. Even Satan knows that you can control him. Today, walk in this revelation. Know who Jesus is and who you are in Him. You are complete in Him, the head of all principality and power. Stand in that authority, speak in His Name, and refuse fear or oppression. Live every day in the boldness of the One who is above all.
