EMERGENCE CONFERENCE SPECIAL REPORT

The Emergence Conference 2024 with the man of God, the very highly esteemed Rev. Joseph Igwemoh, was the first meeting of its kind. The meeting, which took place from Thursday, March 28th, to Saturday, March 30th, 2024, is one that members of the ministry are yet to recover from and cannot easily be forgotten. This conference witnessed the attendance of pastors, coordinators, cell leaders, and leaders who journeyed from different chapters of the ministry all across Nigeria to Benin City to be imparted and to receive spiritual gifts from God. Their lives were greatly blessed as they were transformed into brand new individuals. The opening night was a sight to behold, as sounds of worship saturated the atmosphere. Praises and adoration went up to God from the hearts of the brethren for yet another awesome opportunity to be transformed. Shortly after, the man of God came up to give the brethren an idea of what God was set to do in the lives of everyone present through the conference. Starting out, the man of God gave an illustration of how people listen more to their problems than the solutions, thereby making them leave the same way they came to a meeting such as the Emergence Conference. He urged everyone present to lay aside every form of distraction, whether internal or external. Going into the essence of the night, the man of God read from Proverbs 29:18, saying, "When you don't understand the vision of the ministry, 1. You will not participate the way you should. 2. You will not be blessed the way you should have been blessed. 3. You will not be here for long". He added that, "The prosperity of a people is according to their vision. It's your vision that defines your life and your relationships". He continued by giving insight into the divine circumstances that led to the birth of the ministry and the vision, making everyone present understand the vision of the ministry clearly. Relying on the provisions of the Scriptures in Habakkuk 2:2, the man of God clearly stated that, "Anybody who understands the vision swings into action. Vision is, by nature, self-motivating. The vision is what determines our emphasis". Bringing the session to a close, the man of God explained three vital relationships members of the ministry are expected to have with the vision. These are to: 1. Catch the vision. 2. Personalize the vision. 3. Run with it. The next day witnessed three glorious sessions. We had a special early morning prayer session where the brethren fellowshipped with themselves and with the Spirit of God for a duration of four hours, after which a break was given to enable everyone prepare for the main session of the day. As the afternoon session commenced, the man of God made the brethren aware of the power of words as he made the following statements:"1. Don't listen to advice from people who are not walking with God. 2. The biggest and most important relationship in your life is your relationship with your destiny. 3. If you want to last, don't take counsel about spiritual matters from men of the senses". The peak of this session, however, was on the importance of partnership with the vision, as the man of God made the brethren understand that there is nobody who cannot partner. In partnership, you start from where you are, use what you have, and do all you can (Luke 5:5-7). He added, pointing out that partnership is the demonstration of love for God and commitment to His purpose. Very remarkably, he said, "Partners who help with the vision are filled with provision because God never uses people and dumps them. He will never let you out do Him in giving". Shortly after the afternoon session, the brethren went on a short break and came back for a brief financial enlightenment session, where we got introduced to a life-changing opportunity which is the LIVEFREE INTERNATIONAL (LFI), a financial innovation from Africa aimed at educating, equipping, and empowering the common individual to become financially free through 21st century tech skill acquisition and a unique system to build passive income for life. After the Livefree session, there was a break, and then the evening session commenced. The session commenced with the man of God pointing out that anybody who thinks their future is bright and is not acting on the Word of God is deceiving himself. A person can be successful without the Word of God, but he cannot have lasting success without the Word of God. School can turn people into doctors, lawyers, microbiologists, etc. but school cannot guarantee a successful life. Moving into the core of this session, the man of God spoke extensively on the culture of the ministry. He stated that this ministry is a family, and as a result, love is our lifestyle. Loyalty and submission to spiritual authorities are markers of the culture of the ministry (Ephesians 3:14–15, Romans 8:29, John 13:34–35, and Hebrews 13:17). The third day of the conference witnessed three powerful sessions, during which deliverance and impartation took place. Lots of wonders and miracles were wrought through the hands of the man of God, resulting in many being delivered of unclean spirits and receiving spiritual gifts purposed to take their work to the next level. After this ensued a session where different ministers enlightened the congregation on the different ways they can take their place in the vision and be relevant, introducing some vital arms of the ministry that aid the spread of the vision effectively and efficiently. Thereafter, we had a baptism session where our dear man of God explained to us that baptism marks the final separation of the Christian from the world. About 200 souls were baptized and identified with Christ. It was a glorious session. In the last and final session of the conference, our dear man of God taught extensively on how to keep the gifts we received from the conference. He said: 1. Use the gift. To keep the gift, use it. Go and win souls with it. Go and minister. 2. Prayer: speak in tongues every day to stir up the gift. (2 Timothy 1:6) 3. Transfer the gift. Impart someone else with it. If there is nobody you can transfer the gift to after the meeting, you will lose it. God does not give us anything for ourselves. 2 Timothy 2:2. The Emergence Conference concluded with these profound statements from the man of God: "Whatever you think is the most important thing in your life but appears difficult to do should be the first thing you do when you wake up daily". Unfeigned gratitude goes to God Almighty for the tremendous success of this conference. Particular acknowledgement and thanks accrue to our dear man of God, very highly esteemed Rev. Joseph Igwemoh, for teaching God's Word in all truth, clarity, and simplicity. Further appreciation goes to the admin, highly esteemed Pastor Lead Igwemoh, senior pastors, pastors, cell leaders, and delegates from all across the ministry for their attendance and contribution to the success of the Emergence Conference 2024.
